Our coffee infused chocolate is made in Cambridgeshire in the East of England and promises the velvety texture you would expect from a quality chocolate. For those who love a mocha coffee or an espresso-style chocolate, then this collection is for you. 

Questions We're often asked about vegan chocolate

Our coffee-infused chocolate blends single-estate cocoa beans with small batch coffee to create the perfect pairing. We select the coffee for its flavour profile to marry with the taste notes of the cocoa.  

It’s not always the case that coffee and cocoa from the same origin pair well together. For our Solomon Islands Cappuccino chocolate, we use a Colombian coffee to complement the deep cocoa and red fruit tones of the cocoa. Gluten-free oats give the chocolate a creamy texture and sweet finish, just as you would expect from a cappuccino, whilst still being suitable for vegans.

For our Papua New Guinea coffee and chocolate bar, we’ve found that a coffee from the same origin is the perfect partner for the ripe blackberry and baked raspberry notes of the cocoa to give a rich, espresso-style flavour. 

Caffeine is naturally present in both coffee and cocoa beans and so our coffee-infused chocolate contains slightly more caffeine than the average dark chocolate bar. Firetree’s chocolate with coffee is made using real coffee beans. This unique blend of chocolate infused with coffee combines the taste of high quality cocoa, with the flavour of coffee to create a delightful and invigorating combination.

Firetree’s rich chocolate infused with coffee is carefully created to adhere to vegan guidelines and provides a rich and indulgent plant-based option. 

We’d suggest that you might want to consider enjoying our coffee-infused chocolate as an alternative to a cup of coffee. Pairing the profile of the coffees we use in our chocolate with your favourite coffee can be tricky.

Experimenting is key. If you have a selection of different coffees in your cupboard, why not try a little with each - some flavour profiles will complement and others will contrast. Of course, you can also turn our coffee-infused chocolate into a hot chocolate drink and enjoy the best of both worlds!

For our Papua New Guinea, KarKar Island 'espresso' chocolate, we've paired a coffee from the same origin to give a rich espresso-style finish. We partner with another Cambridgeshire-based company, Masteroast, which sources ethical and sustainable coffee from around the world. Coffee and chocolate from the same origin don't always pair well, but in this case, they certainly do.

Our Oat Cappuccino chocolate and coffee bar crafted using Firetree's signature volcanic chocolate from the Solomon Islands, Guadalcanal, needs a bright and brisk coffee to complement the creamy notes of the chocolate. The fruity Columbian coffee we've chosen marries perfectly to create this decadently creamy, plant-based cappuccino chocolate. 

Firetree’s coffee-flavoured chocolate is crafted by expertly blending premium cocoa with real coffee beans, creating a rich authentic coffee and cocoa blend chocolate. The process involves infusing the chocolate with finely ground coffee, ensuring a deep robust coffee taste.

We refine the coffee and add it to the chocolate at the conching stage so that both are evenly blended and the flavour is distributed through the chocolate.
