The family-run cocoa farm on The Solomon Islands' largest island, Guadalcanal, produces cocoa beans rich full of deep cocoa and date taste notes. Blending with milk gives a sumptuously creamy texture and lingering chocolate note.
Cocoa farming on Malekula Island in Vanuatu has a 100-year history but production here is still relatively small, making these cocoa beans some of the rarest in the world. The nutrient-rich volcanic soil and sub-tropical climate yields a cocoa bean with notes of cherry, soft lemon and white grape.
Mindanao Island is our only cocoa origin to be found north of the equator. One of The Philippines southernmost islands, the farmer here grows cocoa on the slopes between Mount Apo and Davao city in the fertile tropical rainforest-like conditions. The result is a cocoa that's layered with notes of citrus, honey and caramel.
