Firetree's 100% Cocoa Selection showcases two of our volcanic cocoa-growing origins. Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands and Malekula Island in Vanuatu. Expect taste notes of deep cocoa, dates and red fruit teased out in the low and slow roasting of the whole cocoa beans.

Vanuatu, Malekula Island 100% Cocoa - the spiced cherry aroma leads to a flavour journey of rich red fruits, cocoa and subtle notes of buttery nuts alongside sticky, baked cherry.

Solomon Islands, Guadalcanal 100% Cocoa - baked chocolate brownie on the nose. The inherent sweetness of these prized beans hold taste notes of rich cocoa, sticky date, mellow black tea and red fruit.

Our Letterbox Selections will be delivered straight through your letterbox unless purchased with other items, in which case they will be delivered together in a larger parcel.

Our Vanuatu farmers live in the cocoa-farming village in the heart of Malekula island. The amount of cocoa grown on the island doesn’t even register on the cocoa scale of production, which shows how rare it is.

Our main farmer on Guadalcanal, Diana, grows her cocoa amongst durian and lemon trees along the north coast near Honiara. She has excellent relationships with her neighbouring farmers who step in when cocoa yields are smaller than expected.
