Grown in the very heart of Tanzania, our small-crop cocoa thrives in the rich soils of the Kilombero Valley around the rural village of Mbingu - Swahili for 'Heaven'.

A floral, woody aroma is followed by a whoosh of red fruit taste notes with pops of lemon, deep cocoa and hints of pineapple.

Our Tanzania cocoa comes from an esteemed agri-centre working with small-holder farmers around the village of Mbingu in Tanzania’s Kilombero Valley. They buy the freshly harvested cocoa directly from growers and pay above-market prices for their crop.

The team at the agri-centre are on-hand to help the farmers with their farming challenges who have been practicing organic farming by default for generations - the lack of availability of inorganic inputs for cocoa has meant that the cocoa trees have been grown without any pesticides, inorganic fertilisers, or other chemicals.
